More Than a Garage

Some are workshops, filled with organized chaos and half-finished projects. Others are clean, architectural spaces, designed with precision and intent. What unites them is the person who cares enough to make it their own.

For most, the garage is an afterthought. A space for storage, a means to an end. But for us, it’s a studio of craft, a sanctuary for prized machines, an extension of our identity. It’s where we escape the noise and reconnect with something real.

Garage Recess exists to celebrate these spaces and the people who shape them. We explore the intersection of design, craft, and identity, sharing the stories of the people who believe the garage is more than just a garage.
